What do you see coming back to Calgary in this deal, if it goes through? Have you heard anything?

After we get Kotalik from you we will re-trade him back to you for a bag of pucks.

agreed it would be a slap in the face to reggie too, been with us for a long time, is a great guy and more often than not gets good results. we better be getting a 2nd and a blue chip prospect at minimum!

Do you have anything to substantiate this claim, or this just the opinion of Sabres fans? I can somewhat understand this thinking because it sounds as if there is not a hard time table for Regehr to make this decision, which would put tomorrows draft pick out of reach. But again Feaster knows that the Flames lack quality prospects. So if there no 1st coming back, and if its not Stafford (because he just signed a new contract), maybe it is Kassian?

Luke Adam would not be enough on his own. We have no need for the rights to Connolly. Roy and Vanek are pipe dreams for Regehr. I guess there is Boyes, but IMO I really think Kassian makes the most sense.

It would be great if we could dump Kotalik on the Sabres, and he did have success there in the past.

Is it 2008? Regehr WAS a top pairing shut down guy. Now he is a slow-footed, over-rated 3rd/4th dman that plays physical.

Another quality HF post.

If this was true, why is it rumored that multiple teams want his services. If the Buffalo deal falls thru, I am sure Feaster will have his phone ringing off the hook about teams wanting to aquire Regehr. I can probably count on one hand how many defenceman in the NHL do what Regehr does the way he does it.

Yes because he's so over the hill at 31 and thats why he was considered for the Canadian Olympic team last year. Dumb post is dumb.

I have reported a trade or 2, so ive got some credibility to my name. not the most accurate, but ive heard the 1st is out and its likely involving chris butler and prospects

If Regehr gets traded for nothing...I will lose all faith in this organizations management. He is one of my favourite Flames, I have nothing but love for the guy and I think it would be a slap in his face to ask him to leave this place for ****.

Feaster, you better get us something good for Reggie, man...

This better not be Phaneuf Round 2 with endless quantity instead of any quality. If Feaster moves Reggie for a salary dump he should be fired. If he gets a good return, good to hear. Either way it will be sad to see him moved.

A package that included Luke Adam and Chris Butler wouldn't be bad at all. Hopefully there's another prospect and/or draft pick included, but those two young players would be good starting points for a deal.

More like, he should be fired BEFORE he's allowed to make this travesty of a trade

Edmonton is the only team who wouldnt want him. Hemsky would shatter if he even got in the same room with him.

Butler is a decent player, but I feel he would somewhat be redundant on our blueline. I can see the sense of having a d-man come back, but he is not what Regehr's value is worth. I can't see Regehr being dealt to anyone unless there is something significant coming back our way. Calgary will not act like Vancouver and riot, but there will be alot of ticked off fans if Regehr gets dealt for a Phaneuf 2.0 trade.

This is why I didn't want Feaster.

If Reggie is traded for someone like Connolly, I'll be pissed. Ennis or Butler please.

Because this is the Flames. If they aren't being raked over the coals for their core players, they're not doing anything.

I don't. Feaster is the one who is having to cleanup Sutter's mess. Why would he go out and make the same mistake that was made in the Phaneuf trade? I think most fans would be sad, but fine with a Regehr trade as long as it is a good return.
