Now we're in a position where we basically have to deal Regehr. We may not end up getting as good a return. +Adam +16th +2nd 2012 - Stajan . Prospect, multiple picks, and no salary coming back? Yeah, we're not going to find that. My hope is that Buffalo drafts someone that Calgary likes enough to just go with the original deal if Regehr changes his mind about Buffalo.

Dreger just reported, that Regehr has yet to make a final decision.

Please say yes, please tell me it's 16th + Adam + 2nd for Regehr+Stajan.

I'm sorry Regehr, but it's a new decade, and Stajan, well, **** you Stajan.

I thought that too, that the Flames would annouce the trade right before the draft at 13.

I don't think the Buffalo trade is dead yet. Regehr wants to listen to what other teams are interested, but Feaster still has the control in the situation. If he doesn't like other teams offers, he can just say no thanks. That Buffalo package sounds great, I would take that one run. If thats true, Feaster is definitely better at getting higher returns than Sutter. The Erixon trade sucked, but the return was really good.

Good summary, Spec RT @SportsnetSpec: To clarify: Regehr has played his last game as a Flame. Just wants Feaster to dig up some choices along with Buffalo. San Jose seems good

Doesn't sound like the Buffalo deal is done quite yet!

... So, Buffalo isn't off the table.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I really would like Adam and Armia for the future, but it never really meant I wanted to see Regehr go if this is the truth of Regehr's opinion.

Well, it sounds like as a Calgary Flames fan, start hoping for the bright future. There's always a silver lining, whether it be San Jose or Buffalo.

If/when Regehr is traded, I hope it's to an Eastern team.

If San Jose is one of his preferred destinies, what do they have to and what would they offer, that could be of interest to the Flames?

Since they most likely won't take on Stajan, it should be more than what Buffalo was rumored to offer, but I am afraid they won't.

Well, so much for the Sharks.

It'll have to be Buffalo now, hopefully.

SJ just acquired Brent Burns, which essentially takes them out of the running for Regehr.

Do you think that Minnesota's trade with San Jose makes the Regehr trade more or less likely to happen?

It kind of has to be Buffalo now. Some kind deal has to happen. He won't be a Flame come fall.

Sabres GM Darcy Regeir says the Regehr trade is still in play, but it's in Calgary's court...meaning Robyn's court. #Flames
Its still out there, I really wonder if Armia would be coming to the Flames now along with Adam and something.

I don't want to see Regehr go, but I would love to move Stajan.

I can't really see the Sabres trading both those guys, but that would be pretty awesome. I'd expect one of them and a pick.

It looks like kotalik could be part of the regehr deal, if it happens.

It is no big deal that teams know Reggie has been asked to waive his NMC. It simply could open up all sorts of interesting scenarios.

What can I tell you man, I was pulling for Feaster to be able to bury Stajan's contract, not just Kotalik's. But the league is what it is.
