He'll be pretty solid on a line with Nash. Must suck to go from Philly to Columbus though.

Disappointed not to get Carter, but excited to see two major trades just go down.

Wow there you have it. A trade that's been talked about for a while now and here it is. Finally some serious help coming for Nash in Columbus. This should definitely help free things up for Bryzgalov.

So much for the all people saying Philly didn't have to move a big gun.

Hopefully Philly only got a sixth round pick out of it.

Wow.. Honestly it's good that we didn't have to pay a price like that.

In exchange for Carter, the Flyers are expected will receive Jakub Voracek, plus a first and third round pick.

I think they regret this in a few years.

By the way, why does Scott Hartnell have a NTC contract?

I think this is actually a really great deal for Philly. Voracek is going to be a special player, plus they can pick up a potential future star early on in this draft. The 3rd is icing on the cake. Great deal for both teams, in my opinion

Hearing CBJ gives Voracek, 1st round pick and 3rd round pick for Carter.

Right, because a top line of 3 shooters is exactly what we need.

This is just a BIG **** YOU

The numbers showed it, they didn't have to.

They chose to

It was either him or Richards. No way they could go into the season with a bottom 6 like that.

That's one heck of a return for Philly if true.

Jeff Carter is a legit sniper but not exactly a fit on our team that already has shooters, and needs some more creativity. I'm glad he went to Columbus though they deserve some more talent and can't afford to wait on Voracek.

Him with Kessel would be a disaster to watch and I don't know if I'd be able to watch Carter for the next 10 years.

PLUS, that price is huge to pay.
