This. I could see the reasons for trading him when we were pressed up against the ceiling and had to maneuver. Now, just wanting space for the sake of cap space? Eh, you're not going to do much better than Campbell with that space, might as well keep on winning.

What if we could ship out Campbell and bring back the Wiz?
Campbell is better, Wiz had a great year no doubt but he's not the same player. I know most will counter it with "yeah, but Wiz will be cheaper" etc, but IMO with the cap going up Wiz will get 5.5+. So you'd be saving less than 2 mil in space. Just too much maneuvering to not really upgrade.

Yup, you just summed up why keeping Campbell is better than trying to replace him with Wiz.

Wiz is younger and brings a physical game that would help us greatly
1.5/2M saved and still fielding a strong top 4 of Seabrook/Keith/Wiz/Hammer = Good

I don't mind Campbell and I do think he brings something to the table. That is why I said number, and not player. Just wish his contract was for 2 million less; that would give the team a lot more flexibility. Alas, it is crying over spilled milk at this point though.
