A Key Improvement Needed....

Surprised no one has mentioned this....

Need to figure out how to close...

1/4
1/2
1/1
0/2

3/9 in games to clinch the series. And don't forget, one of those games was almost blown while one game we were quite fortunate to win.

I'd need some historical evidence/stats of how this compares to other teams before making a judgement on it.

Seems quite knee-jerk to suggest this is a problem.
  1. Sample size is so small it is practically meaningless.
  2. A team facing elimination should naturally be the more motivated team.
  3. The Canucks did, in fact WIN 3/4 of those series. Not only that, they won each series with the other team facing elimination

This

It is what it is.

We were a very inexperienced playoff team coming into this year and the talk was all about our lack of killer instinct. The fact that the results are trending in a positive way is good and lets not kid ourselves, the team was in no shape to win the last two games vs Boston.
