Mike Richards VS Brad Richards

Who's the better player, and if you had to pick one of them to have on your team, who do you take?

Mike is way better defensively. He might not put up as great of numbers, but consider the team he played for and more specifically the style of play.

Who's better along the boards, who's the more physical player?

Mike plays at a higher level more consistantly than Brad does.

Mike's an 80 point player, with a far superior defensive game, work ethic and attitude, physical play, play along the boards, and other intangibles....

Steve Yzerman actually had this very debate..........

.........Mike Richards is also 5 years younger.

the same attitude and work ethic that had him saying he disliked the pressure of wearing the C and was often seen out partying during the playoffs? mike richards is losing himself

Mike Richards has scored 80 points 1 time, and that was 3 years ago. His production on the Kings will more likely be like his last two years with 62 and 66 points respectively, than his two previous with 75 and 80.

I take Mike's age and complete game over Brad's playmaking and clutchness by a slim margin.

Bard is the better offensive player. Mike is the more complete player.

Right now Brad is the better player but that will change in a year or 2 I think
