I don't really care where he goes because UND and Plymouth are great programs. I hope he's ready in 2 years or so.

would like to see him go to plymouth. faster developmental curve. play there one year and then make push to be chris kreiders teammate.

imagine those two beefalos bearin down on you at full speed.

given that i would have preferred we move the pick for some immediate scoring help, and since we didnt, this kid looks to be a safe, smart choice.

considering we have dubi and cally, arguably the heart and soul of our organization, kreider, thomas and now miller seem to be the next group of guys who fit the mold.

People will regret complining about this pick.

Miller is a very good hockey player. Very good.

Is it bad that I REALLY want the Rangers to find a way to grab Biggs?

I believe he said he would go to Plymouth if his drafting team wanted him to, and signed him to his ELC. This would be the right
move IMO.

Also being drafted out of the USNTDP he can play one year in the O and then go to the AHL if he is ready.

He can play any forward position, but is likely a wing at the NHL level.

We have a tremendous number of talented left wingers now:

1. Brandon Dubinsky
2. Wojtek Wolski
3. J.T. Miller
4. Chris Kreider
5. Evgeny Grachev
6. Carl Hagelin
7. Ryan Bourque
8. Jason Wilson

Also these 3 can play either wing:

9. MZA
10. Brandon Prust
11. Dale Weise

And this player can possibly get moved to the left wing:

12. Brian Boyle

I think we are good with left wings now. I have to assume that either Miller, Kreider, Grachev, MZA or Wolski will be able to join Dubinsky as an above average top-6 left wing.

I wanted a winger this year. I was a little disappointed when I kept seeing him listed as a center on various web sites, but he always looked more suited to play the wing, which is why I kept searching to see if he ever played the wing.

Next year, I hope for a RW in the first round.

Since Miller was drafted out of the USNDP program, if he goes to the OHL the 20 year old rule does not apply to him, right?

I believe that since he was drafted before the draft that the rule does apply.
