Exactly he's going to be a good one for sure. The type of player who might not end up on the scoresheet every night, but the type of player you win playoff series' with.

Maybe he'll even show up against Boston.

So what good does that do to the Leafs?

Nothing right now, he's part of the rebuild. Besides Biggs isn't NHL ready yet regardless and he's being developed for later.

What do they have to do with one another?

For the Leafs, I like Biggs out of the 3 for the skill-set he brings, and the fact that he brings a lot of what this team needs. He's a vocal kid who plays with a ton of passion, and can change games with his physical play, and his work along the boards. I think he's a guy that will make an impact, whether or not his offense turns into one of his strengths.

Man, if he had more offense, he plays the game a lot like the old #17. We could use a guy like Wendel these days.

Can't wait to see him suit up one day.
I see this too. Backes hit 30 goals once, he's more of a 50-60 point player, which is a great 2nd liner. He'll be a tough son of a ***** that can pot 20-30 goals here and there. I think that's Biggs top potential, whether he'll hit it is something we'll see in the future.

Please don't say that unless you mean it ... We need someone to play like that so badly

Think Wendel Ultra-Lite. Biggs is a leader, great character kid. Big, feisty, hits like a wreckingball and was labelled the best fighter in the draft. He's got hands and a pretty good shot. But he won't be as good as Clark.

It's nice to have him go under the radar for a bit before the hype begins; Kadri easily had it the worst. No one anywhere (not even here) really talks about Biggs.

I see Biggs as a 15-20 goal guy, maybe 25 or so at his max potential. Solid player, can't wait to see him with the Marlies on a regular basis.
