Golden Bear Ryan Wade to play in ECHL Victoria

So or first few players have been signed here in Victoria for our new ECHL team, the Salmon Kings...Golden Bear Ryan Wade, local Victoria boy, will be counted on for leadership and offence. Can he cut it in that league? You guys see him lots out there for U of A.

I know nothing about him, but try posting it on the college hockey board.

I can tell you I'm going to try and watch as many of there game's as possible, but that has to be one of most hideous jersey's I've ever seen in my life and can guarantee I won't be buying one of those anytime soon.

On a somewhat rlated topic... Did you know Salso season tickets only cost $240? That's not shabby at all. In the past I've always just bought lots of single game tickets but season tickets make sense...

Ryan Wade will be first line and first unit pp guy for Maxie in Victoria. Wade was the dominant forward in the Canada West last season scoring 38 goals in 43 games, and finished his CIS career as the all-time leading scorer in University Cup history.
He is an average skater, with a rocket for a shot and plays the game with a real edge.
Don't be surprised if he scores 30 to 35 goals this season in the ECHL.
