They're pretty decent. They don't make it up, but also doesn't mean what they say will happen (No E's). I talk to someone who talks to one of them. Pretty sure they've been around longer than this message board has.

Not trying to be smart here, you've never heard of the 4th Period? They've been putting out a magazine for a couple years now I believe, and have had players in for photo shoots.

That's what the past two days have been all about.

And boy did we ever get bigger...the size we drafted this year was impressive...

NOTE: Neither Eriksson nor Beritlsson were drafted.

EDIT:

Voracek - 6'2
Schenn - 6'0
Simmonds - 6'2
Couturier - 6'4
Cousins - 5'10
Suellentrop - 6'2
Noebels - 6'2
Placek - 6'4
Mathers - 6'3
Look at the size of these dudes! Now all of a sudden the prospect pool does not look to bad. Amazing what one draft can do for you. But Couturier is the cherry on top. If he can be the player the experts project him to be. I would have to say we were lucky to grab him at #8.

I am shocked he slipped to 8th... he was a co number 1 8 months ago.... we got a star in the making I think.

Then couldn't we sign him eventually if we wanted to?

Also, even though we didn't have a 2nd, I think we did pretty damn well.

Yes we could sign him, and we did alright. The Couturier pick made this draft a success. If not for that pick, then it was another "whatever" draft. I would've liked last year's better had it not been for that pick.
