Auld & Aebischer: What Are The Odds?

Last weekend I was paying respects to an inspirational person buried at the national cemetery in San Diego, and did a doubletake when I saw these two markers on the wall five feet away. I flashed back to the miserable beginning of the 07-08 season, before Bryzgalov was acquired.

Who was your favorite back up? I'd say Mikael Tellqvist. Maybe Bob Essensa.

Dunno if he was my favorite, but always had a soft spot for "Fill 'er Up Esso".

Sadly that joke is dated with the Esso gas station brand dead or close enough to it.

I only know what Esso is from the advertising on the boards in north eastern markets and from listening to TSN radio at work. Goalie Bob!
