I never personally knew either of them. And they came close but no cigar. Good luck and I hope the players we now have (GOALIE) can do what you could not.

Richie dominated Montreal and turned the tide against Boston last year. He was plagued by injuries this year, and for the team to turn his back on him is inexcusable in my book.

As for Jeff.... well, good luck.

I love the part where he beats ups on Perry, hopefully we'll see a lot of this in the future

I'm really going to miss both of them. It's a shame that everything couldn't work out for them here. I wish them the best and am now a Kings and Columbus fan.

I'm going to miss both these guys. They were part of my favorite Flyers team I ever got to see (2010 playoffs), and I will always remember their time here fondly. I still can't believe it happened. Though my anger has lessened. I'll be rooting for them moving forward (when ever they aren't playing against the Flyers). Good luck guys. You will be missed.

I'll echo that I thought these two were going to be Flyer lifers after signing those deals. It's a shame it had to end here. Best of luck to them both in their new digs. They both have some great teammates coming to them and the Flyers hopefully have alot of promise in the future thanks to their transactions.

We'll miss ya Jeff and Mike!

There's a part of me that hopes that Homer has something crazy up his sleeve that will get us Richards back before the season starts.

Yeah, I know.
But it helps me sleep at night. Good riddance Carter, but Richards will be sorely missed for quite some time.

Thanks for everything, guys. I'll miss them both. Especially Richie like everyone else, one of my favorite Flyers of all time. Really sad to see his Flyer career end way too soon.

I thought for sure I would see Richards bring us the cup and retire here with his jersey in the rafters. He's probally my favorite Flyer ever, the first guy I got to watch develop here basically. I feel like he showed more heart and effort than anybody else on the ice night after nght and nobody can convince me otherwise. I'll miss Richie, I'm sure we'll all see him raise the cup, but sadly not with us.

Carter... he's ok I guess. Haha nah I liked him too, just not like Richards.
