As per LeBrun.

I'm not a huge Liles fan, but I wonder if Holland was in on this at all. A second isn't a very steep price and Liles is a good puck mover.

Perhaps Wings management is trying to get D-men signed at under $4.0m per year...

I agree with Rice .. a late 2nd rounder is not a steep price to pay for Liles..
and he's on his final yr @4.2 mil... which is probably the thing that you'd have to decide, if that cost is worth it, or is it better to spend it on a UFA... now can you get those UFA's?
I would rather we not get into a bidding war and overpay for someone because there are no options...

So, for the moment.. I would think it's would have been worth spending a 2nd rounder, since we only have 4 D signed for next year... question is, would it be just a 2nd, or more, for us to get him?

still my preference would be to go the UFA route first.. and not have to give up any assets until it's our only option...
