Pick-for-Pick Trades

There will be no need to open separate threads for non-human assets. Any pick-for-pick trades can be posted here as a running list.

I like this idea. Lots of times I'll come on the board during the draft and go "What the? I missed a trade between New Jersey and Ottawa!" and it will just be a pick-for-pick trade.

lol Leafs, only team to move up in a weak draft.

still dont get why a team that stinks for so long moves picks. I would rather have my team take stabs at the dart board

We still have 2 first rounders (22 and 25) and the second we traded today for Liles was Boston's next year. So in this years draft, we still have 10 picks, and unless I'm forgetting I'm pretty sure we have all our picks next year.

Ottawa gets Det's 24 for the Sens 35th and 48th per Dreger.

Although the username, I am a Montreal Canadiens fan, but I've been vocal in the last few days how I would hate the Habs selecting Tyler Biggs (who was a real possibility IMO). I believe is the least skilled player that will be be selected in the Top-50. Intangible only gets you so far, and we tried it once with Kyle Chipchura in 2004.

We have enough two way gritty forwards, I was hoping we would draft skilled players like Puempel and Jurco

Yeah I really wanted Peumpel. Also like Jurco and hoped that we could get him. We still have the 25th though so it's possible we still get one of those guys.

No, he traded a 2nd rounder for an active player.

To bad for us eh? We traded a lower pick for an active player instead of using a higher first rounder.

Go away.

Stuart Percy is a far better pick for the Leafs. That's a nice one.

It's pretty damn close to the one I suggested a few days earlier (33th + 47th) but they got even less value.

Vancity trades the 60th pick to Minny. What's the return?
