Regehr is only 30, it's not like he's 35 or 36...

He still may project out better as a LW -- we hear a lot of Andreychuk sort of comparisons but he may not have THAT level of hand skill and is a bit faster -- and has flown under the radar for many. He makes some good plays to space to compensate for his feet -- he can move the biscuit to where his winger will be (and draw the guy to that spot).

I'm still thinking it's more likely one of the WHL D-men and something more. With the area/familial ties to Foligno, that seems unlikely. Kassian... they have a lot invested there. We'll see.
That is my opinion, as well. I think it's most likely McNabb or Pysyk + 3rd (Or a pick from the 2012 draft).

I didn't think of this and in my opinion is pretty valid best way to show you wanna win

Regehr is exactly what the Sabres need on the blueline.

Wow does Calgary ever get hosed in that deal. You know Darryl Sutter is no longer GM, right?

Strictly from a stats perspective since I don't know much about the Sabres outside of Ennis, Myers and Miller

Brennan would fill in the hole that Erixon left and we get another 1st rounder. I liked the draft report on Brennan before too back in his draft.

Of course it'd be nice if it was Ennis + 1st instead Fills in our center hole quite nicely.

Disagree, Robyn Regehrs a big slow defensive dman. Those guys don't give you much past 34-35.

The thinking is that it will show that the Sabres have a commitment to winning beyond just what Pegula says, and make Richards think the Sabres are that much closer to Cup contention.

It, hypothetically, shows Richards Buffalo's commitment to winning.

I watched Adam in Montreal and a bit last year in Portland. He is a great prospect. The new owner in Buffalo is shaking up the Northeast Division. Buffalo is about to get serious about winning.

Next question: If this deal goes through, the Flames have #13 and #16... do they trade up or pick?

I would move up with the 16th in addition to a 2nd or two. Other than that, I'm happy with the 13th.

Regehr has been talked about for a while on HF as the perfect compliment to Myers.

One or more of the 1st, McNabb, Foligno, Pysyk, Sekera, Adam is surely involved. (Sounds like generalizing I know)

Absolutely no way it's Ennis + 1st.

I'd say pick. After the top 5 there isn't much difference.
