Gudbranson...the guy they couldn't sign.

Yeah Larsson and him would have started something for Fla.

Didn't know they couldn't sign him. Just one year though.

They'll sign him but he's not a franchise defenseman. Neither is Kulikov.

Its a nice foundation. And D take longer. So if I were a Fla fan I'd be pissed.

And I'd rather have 7 2-4's than a number one.

Really? A #4 Pick is a steal?

Quote:
Notes: At No. 4, this guy is the steal of the draft. He has awesome vision, composure with the puck and great on 1-on-1 battle. The Devils need defence and it's a great pick. - Pierre McGuire.

Lol, the thing that sucks (and ironically awesome) about watching the NHL draft is unlike the NFL and NBA the Caps don't pick in the top half anymore. I think it only took 20 minutes last night before the Wizards picked Vesely.

TSN realizes that they're feeding the US, right? I don't give a **** if your next segment has Canadian teams.

Couturier is falling hard. Ottawa has to take him next, right?

Everyone pretty much knew who the top four picks were going to be. We’ll start to see a bit of divergence now, though the next four to five players are fairly set: Hamilton, Murphy, Sean Coturier, Ryan Strome and maybe J.T. Miller.
Surprised he mentions Miller in that high a regard.

That comment ranks right there with Mckenzie's "it will be criminal if this guy plays in the NHL next season"....they're all blowhards.

Kinda hoping Couturier slides more and comes back to haunt these teams...

The Caps staff must be bored to tweet each pick.

Or it would be criminal if GMGM has him on the team next year...

Definitely like Zibenejad over Courturier. Mostly because I'm not a fan of Courturier (not a fan of many in this draft, really). But also because this kid has a chance to be really good. Don't think anyone ends up regretting skipping Courturier, though.

I think Murphy is better than Hamilton, personally. But either of those are the best players available, imo.

Yeah I have a false hope they'll pull off some sort of trade.

I'd have to think long and hard about taking Murphy in the top ten.

One could get a movie in in the meantime for sure. Hell, there's a chance they may not pick until tomorrow.

Huh. Scheifele up to the 'Peg. A Johansen-like riser.
