Only on HFBoards is trading two, two-way thirty goal scorers off of a very successful team, for value that is primarily prospects and picks considered a turn around.
OK, um i'm gonna just hopefully have to say this once even though people have already before, (but that will likely not be the case) but this forum is called Hockey's Future so that line of thought as well as others who can't quite wrap their heads around it, like the stat hounds who enjoy pulling up crap from years past ( Jester ) to prove point, need to start reading other forums.
In fact there are other forums that provide a lot more insight and valuable input on actual players instead of sheer numbers and snap judgements that this one proves, albeit less populated.

My bro sent me that pic...I had no idea he was a pens pick...now I hope he's a career 2nd place finisher in the atlantic division #Flyers

Then why are you here if the intellectual level is so low?
Or you can find and develop defensemen at 83 and the other third acquired. Jon Merrill slipped to the middle second round and is seen as an upper tier defensemen prospect.

Looks like Carle got a little defensive about his initial reaction. Oh, what am I thinking? Carle doesn't do defensive.
