Hey, at worst, he implements the prayers that every football teams does before the start of each game.

If it makes our big injuries go away....I WANT HIM!

So he doesn't want to be a Bruins? Is that what you're saying?

Okay, that one is a bit cheesy. But still, I'm not going to sit here and bash the guy for being proud of his religion. I'm equally as proud, but admittedly am too much of a coward to show it in full force like Grimaldi does, just because of people criticizing and laughing at me for it.

You saved the best for last.

I just don't see this kid fitting in with an NHL locker room.

WTF does that even mean? Tell your problems how big your God is? WTF? How do you measure something that is incorporeal!

If he talked this way in interviews it's no wonder he dropped. We might be able to pick him up in the 3rd!

Not worse than partying it up daily with booze and ******. As long as he fills the net, I'd take Grimaldi in Mtl.

Being proud of your religion is fine. It's the fact that he has this "holier than thou" attitude that just rubs people the wrong way. I mean, did you hear what he said to Duthie earlier? That he'd forgive players on his team for making mistakes like drinking and partying? Who the **** says that?

Who was the last (or currently is) the biggest religious guy the Habs have/had? I seem to remember Ferland was quite a religious guy. Apparently he barely ever swore but screwed something up in training with the Dogs one time and vented and the guys gave him stick about it for weeks.

I'm not bashing the guy at all. I always liked players with left field attitude and even if you are Christian you have to admit that Rocco is a little bit weird.

Not only because of all his awesome Jesus quotes but the way he's express himself in interview, I'm a fan.

Ryan Walter is the last guy I remember who played for the Habs. Story goes that John Kordic would sit beside him on planes because Walter didn't drink alcohol, so Kordic would get his beer.

I have no problem with people being Christian. Walter was a good guy, and there are other guys like that in the NHL today, but Rocco takes it to a whole new level.

I don't recall him labelling drinking and partying as "mistakes", just that he knows that people do it and just because he doesn't do it himself, he won't judge them. Drinking and partying have nothing to do with religion, by the way. There's no mention in the bible saying you can't drink or have a good time. Grimaldi might be straight-edge.
