There used to be a place on Portage called Fat Boys that was amazing.

Both VJs & Buger Place on Portage offer great burgers.

Another is the Dairy Whip out in St. B; OMG - tasty.

Big Als (now Albert Street Burgers) is great as well, believe it or not.

West End/Wolseley, eh?

Love Wolseley, there's nothing quite like it. Kits in Vancouver is the closest I've seen to it, but even then, it just doesn't have the same "cozy" feeling you get in Wolseley. I've lived there for the majority of my life, and have no intention of leaving there any time soon.

You know what ties nearly all of these burger joints together? They're run by Greek-Canadians.

Seriously, I don't think any culture has perfected the burger better than they have. It's something in that fatboy chili...

All this talk about burgers is surely going to ruin my diet. Don't forget about Super Boy's, located on Main St., close to Inkster.

Bistro 7 1/4's Mussels and Fries (Moules et frite?) are amazing, especially the beer, bacon and cheese flavor. Their fries are like cooked hickory sticks (you have to try them).
Bistro 7 1/4's Mussels are unreal. I also like Fusion Grill and Bonfire Bistro as a few small places with great food. And if you want to venture outside of the Perimeter, try Rembrandts in Lockport, great food!

Myrna's on Sargent, great Filipino food. Go get their breakfast.
Mostly all of the bakeshops/stores are pretty much the same with a few exceptions to some.

OT: any other Filipino's on here besides me?

Any golfers from Winnipeg on here? Played Bel Acres this morning, looking at Breezy Bend tomorrow and have a tournament Monday at the new Southwood.

Manitoba is blessed with some great courses, and low prices for golf.
