Im glad to be able to tell u that we just received a checking to the head penalty for the 4th game in a row

We did score in SH tho. Up 3-1 away with 15 to go.

Brodin is very very good in this game. Reading the play like no other.

good to hear about brodin thanks for all the updates.

also given his low offensive production is that because he doesnt get the chance? or is he struggling with it. i guess what i am asking is he put on shutdown duty again?

We won 4-1 today.

Brodin played 21.55, went +2, had 4 shots on goal and made 1 assist.

Dont worry about his offensive production, this was the first game we scored more than 2 goals after 60 min play lol. And our best scorer is another D, Magnus Nygren with 5 goals.

Scoring goals have been our problem, if we solve that, he will get his points.
He was well good tonight and one of his reads did setup a 2 on 1 for us, which ended in a goal and the assist for Jonas.

Another win, 3-0 at home against Linköping with Hlavac and Hlinka in the team now.

Very solid game and we have suddenly started to play like last season.
12 points the last 4 games and we're now 8th.

Brodin made one of his best games this season, he was absolutely everywhere and is so much more involved in the game. I wish you could see a whole game.

Even tho I thought he played over 25 mins, he only played 17.41. Probably cuz we now have all nine D's fully fit (one suspended tho) and played 7 of them yesterday.

He went +1 and fired 8 shots! 4 of them wide tho.

Good to hear he's trying to put the puck on net. Maybe he could teach this team a thing or two in that regard...

Won after shootout away against Skellefteå who are 2nd in the standings.

19.25 min for Brodin, -1.

Big game coming up on saturday at home against rivals HV71, they also got a very good form lately.
After that game we got 4 "easier" games against teams which all are struggling atm. Should be able to be alongside the top 3 in the standings after these ones.

Man, still waiting for you to come in here with a "Brodin with 2+2 today" update, but I guess giving up 5 goals and not being on the ice for any of them will have to suffice.

Won 2-1 at home. Brodin paired up with Klefbom and played 20.07.

1 shot on goal and 1 wide. He played amazing tonight and his calmness on the ice is just out of this world. His flippin 18. Never ever any mistakes.

Boy is he brilliant.

He told me after the game that he doesn't want to play for the Wilds and therefore he will sign a lifetime-contract with us instead U can dream right^^

I had it going in a browser - looked like AIK was dominating and the assist was in garbage time to make it 3-2. Still happy to see the 22:40 of play for Brodin.

As always, thanks for the first hand updates SouthSwe!

We had the first period, they had the second and the third except the last 5 min. Brodin's assist came with 2.15 left on the clock when we played with an empty net.

1 more game before the break. At home on saturday against Foppa and Näslunds Modo that is in a real crisis atm with one win the last 7 games.

Brodin saving a goal at 0.24 and then with a shot at 2.03.

Won 3-1. Brodin played 19.09, went +1 and had 1 shot on goal.

Solid game from our defence. Brodin had many poke checks stopping their attacks.

I'm glad to announce that Jonas Brodin has been selected to make his debut in the Swedish National team next week

Many selected players got injuries and 7 of them had to say no and Brodin is one of 3 replacements on the D.
The games will be played november 10th-13th.

Here's the article if u wanna google translate it.

This normally never happens, players that are elligble for the wjc are never selected for the National team. The national team management must really like what they have seen from Brodin so far.

Mårts(national team coach) was in Karlstad and watched the game vs Skellefteå the other day when Brodin made a solid performance so I guess he knows how good Brodin has been this season.

So, we might have Jonas Brodin trying to take the puck from Mikael Granlund...

We could even get a nice little 'Wild-prospect-slipping-and-giving-the-puck-away-for-the-opposition-to-score' competition here.
