Toronto is one of the few teams who just doesn't have enough quality assets to pull this deal. Pittsburgh doesn't need defensemen and the Leafs don't have the forwards to pull it off.

We balked at all the trades yesterday, but I really don't believe this one. I just don't see them having enough pieces to get Malkin.
