Should remove Reimer from that list. I don't think he is a prospect anymore.

anywhere around #14-16

D'Amigo and McKegg seem to have higher upsides.

Havn't seen Percy play, but that seems about the right place for Biggs.

According to HF.com's criteria, Reimer and Aulie are prospects.

I placed them above Scrivens because of the drastic age difference and the fact that both Biggs and Percy are better at 18 than Scrivens was. Until Scrivs proves he's a #1 or #2 NHL goaltender, other prospects of comparable potential will be given the benefit of the doubt simply due to age.

McKegg is very talented but both Biggs and Percy are better than McKegg was last year on draft day. Biggs is a different player than Ross or McKegg, offering something very different. Size, strength, toughness and some offensive upside.

Depending on how each players starts off the season, Biggs or Percy could fall below Ross and/or McKegg. The top 6 of Kadri, Reimer, Colborne, Gardiner, Frattin and Aulie is pretty much set in stone at this point. Blacker is pretty well inked into the #7 spot.

Prospects 8-14 (Biggs, Percy, D'Amigo, McKegg, Scrivens, Ross, Rynnas) can go in any order.

I'm sure they'll alternate throughout the season quite a bit.

goddamnit **** Biggs, I was so pumped and then I get home to see we traded the 30th and kept wondering for what, rush to see and it's BIGGS?

This guy is a ****ing dolt. 7 goals in 20 games in one of "The most dominant US teams" Peumpel and Jensen still on the board and we take the new Rotislav Olesz :/

GOD

WHY

I see it. Has 2nd line upside. Will most likely be a 3rd line scorer ala Versteeg(20/25). Watching him alot makes you see it

I've watched D'Amigo plenty. I have acess to Marlies season tickets, so I went to my fair share of games last year. Desire is probably his best asset, but it reminds me of the Didomenico love-in. He's still a maybe NHL 3rd liner. All opinion though.

Burke's fascination with toughness can be a bit frustrating at times. I wouldnt have minded the move up if we had used it to grab Puempel before Ottawa got their hands on him. Seems like a top level goal scorer and thats what we could have used.

I guess Burke sees Biggs as our potential Milan Lucic, but he just doesnt seem like he has any offensive upside whatsoever. There were definitely more skilled players on the board. I hope he proves me wrong though, but Im beginning to see why Burke gets alot of criticism for his drafting record.

Cant really comment on Percy since I dont know much about him.

Based on the list provided I'd place them 11th and 14th

8) Jerry D'Amigo
9) Greg McKegg
10) Ben Scrivens
11) Tyler Biggs
12) Brad Ross
13) Jussi Rynnas
14) Stuart Percy
15) Korbinian Holzer

D'Amigo and McKegg are good.

Biggs offers something that is unrivaled throughout our organization. Let's see how he develops and handles the NCAA. I think he could be a player that has more of an impact with his size, strength and character than his offensive production.

Milan Lucic and David Backes are great comparison.

Do you take a player with Backes upside or Versteeg upside?

WHAT? biggs can look at olesz and he'll be out for the season... If I wasn't sure that we'd be getting a #1 center then i'd probably be pissed too, but we got safe guys that are LEAFS fans, which can hype them up to be as good as they possibly can be. Oh and mika zibanejad, i feel for you man, a leafs fan that name's himself the sens new shiny prospect... that sucks.

We're not guaranteed a #1C by any stretch of the imagination.

Also what? Biggs hasn't had any notable fights, Olesz is a big guy that is offensively void (just like biggs whopping 7 goals in 20GP) but a good penalty killer. This is what Biggs is going to pan out to be, a shutdown forward that won't make it past the Marlies.

A bit off topic, but if you're going to have Reimer on that list he should be above Kadri.
