Draft day 2 - Targets

I think Murray did a great job in the first round. So what should be the Sens targets in the next rounds, especially with Bostons second. Maybe a dark horse like Catenacci or Sproul could slide to us. Murray should be looking for a goalie in the later rounds altough i doubt it. Personally i would love to have Tobias Rieder in the system (3rd or 4th round). What are your opinions and favourite players?

Boucher; Karlsson; an obscure left-handed defenceman from Sweden.

I would love to some-how make a trade to get a mid 2nd rounder still, but that is probably unlikely.

Its hard to say who will be left at 61/66, but my votes go for:

Jordon Binnington
Lucas Lessio
Nikita Kucherov
Alan Quine (Puempel's linemate)
Scott Harrington
Tobias Rieder
Austen Brassard
Christopher Gibson

I'd be happy with any of these picks, hopefully 2 of them

This Karlsson might be a good fit too.

I like what I've heard about Rasmus Bengtsson, seems like a solid shut down guy, but honestly have no idea where he may be picked.

I hope we have a chance at Musil and Prince, but I highly doubt it.

I doubt that Murray drafts a russian but this guy is special. Saw him in Germany. Huge offensive upside. He was better than next years top 5 pick Yakupov.

Yeah its unlikely for sure but all it takes is a solid effort/interview showing he's committed to coming over to the NHL and doing what it takes to make the team and they could consider him. Haven't heard anything on his stance on KHL vs NHL.

Rasmus Bengtsson. Would be a great pick @61 but I'm guessing he goes around 50.

Karlsson, Boucher, Nermark, McColgan, Rieder, Hoffman would all be great picks. Maybe Brendan Kichton?

BDP dropped that we like Josh Leivo. Look for him around 96.

I'm hoping to see a goalie somewhere in rounds 3-5... But thats cause i feel goalies are like quarterbacks - a position you need to take one of per year because its difficult to judge how they'll turn out but you absolutley need a solid one for your team. And good ones are always overpaid if they hit the open market... So you need them coming through your system.

i seem to recall t.murray saying in an interview that it was unlikely they'd be taking a goalie in this draft. prince would be nice. i want a stable full of high-upside scoring forwards coming out of this draft. i want to go back to the days when we had so much scoring depth we had a marty havlat playing as our no.3 RW.

I'd love one of Seth Ambroz or Rocco Grimaldi and would trade up if the opportunity arose.
