Who's the best hard worker?

Who's the best hard worker... what i mean by ''hard-worker''? .. eummm.. an energic player , who hit everytime he can , gritty , a player who will play for the success of the team , a heart player ..Like Steve Bégin with the Canadiens!!

how about you?

Scott Walker was a fan favorite in Vancouver for just such play, and that's certainly only gotten better in nashville. Vlad Orszagh is a workhorse, as well.

Scott Walker is an excellent choice, but Matt Cooke gets my vote.

I'll miss that ol' bugger...note, his crooked nose & gapped tooth grin exemplify his hardcore gritification...he was fully GQ before he sacrified it all on the ice...more heart than most

The Ducks don't have any...

I can never stand Kris Drapers constant efforts though. He's a hard worker.

The Sens have Mike Fisher, Peter Schaefer, and Antoine Vermette. Fisher is incredible and never stops. Schaefer is one of the best players in the NHL along the boards. Vermette just never stops moving his feet.

Id have to say Darcy Tucker for the Leafs (especially in the playoffs). Alexei Ponikarovsky opened up a few eyes as well last year with his work ethic.

Steve Sullivan and Scott Walker make up one of the hardest working lines in hockey.

Ethan Moreau is a guy in Edmonton that always works his ass off and takes a lot of physical punishment. I've also been really impressed by Walker in Nashville..

On the Canucks, either Artem Chubarov or Matt Cooke. Walker in Nashville ... sigh.. the expansion draft...

Pahlsson? I was gonna mention him, but this thread is about the best hard worker, and Morrow is in my view the very best.

Morrow, Walker, Begin... a few I can think of.

On Buffalo the hardest workers are probably Briere, Mair and Afinogenov. Afinogenov was actually Buffalo's most consistent hardworker last year. I think he took off like 4 games which is good for a Sabre...

For the Sens it's Fisher or Alfy. Alfy just never gives up on the puck...heck it looked like he was giving it everything he had at the all-star game

So far no one has mention Niklas Hagman. It's hard not to notice when he's out there. He's not the biggest guy, but he's always skating at 100%, grinding away in the corners.

He might not be the BEST hard worker, but he's definately one of the hardest workers.

on the Canucks i'd say Chubarov. Cooke is a hard worker but Chubarov is the one person i have never seen take a shift off. he's constantly skating full blast, arms flailing away, fighting in the corner for a lose puck.

Steve Bégin. Smashes his face into the boards, loses a couple of teeth, couple of dozen stitches and comes back for the next period. Crazy! :gman:
