Who was a better GM?

Who? I say who? The guy who turned a dead franchise into an elite team cost-effectively, or the guy who kept a dynasty in tact?

as much as i love burke, he still didn't win nothing.

lou has. He created the dynaty - he got hired in 1987 back when NJ was still pathetic.

I wouldn't call the Devils a dynasty, but Lou should win this poll. For the last decade the Devils have always been a legitimate cup contender and while Vancouver has been a good team in recent years; they aren't at New Jersey's status.

Definitely Lou. He built winners with a tight budget, however, I do think that Burke was one of the top 5 GMs of the past 10 years. Similar to Lou in many ways.
