Alright, alright, I'll make the obligatory "WHO?" post.

There--now on with the discussion--seriously who(?) is this kid...never heard of him.

I know, last year meaning last year, not a couple of months ago.

Just turned 20

17 points in 30 games as 19 year old isn't bad at all.

Late bloomer? Favor to someone. Burke maybe has some knowledge due to location?

Desjardins estimates that about 40% of the game is captured by Corsi analysis.

Let's not forget, Kulemin was a late bloomer draft in the 2nd round. It happens all the time.

Not sure what your point is? If you are going the American University route you cannot play major junior--BCHL is the only option--until you are old enough to go to university.

And in his freshman year in the NCAA. Definitely not bad.

Some info on Robertson:

Since he seems to be unknown to all of you, let me give you some insight on him. Yes, I saw Robertson play several times this season.

He began the year really well, but his production tapered off a bit in the second half. He has size, skates really well with great hands. I guess you can say that he's a mobile, puck-moving defenseman.

Some of you may probably try and compare him to Jake Gardiner (style-wise). Styles are somewhat similar but that's where the comparisons end. Robertson doesn't have Gardiner's slick puck skills nor his speed. But Robertson does move the puck around really well and can QB the PP.

I wouldn't say that Robertson is overly physical but he's not afraid to get into the rough stuff either.

Robertson is definitely a project, so don't expect to see him with the Leafs anytime soon.

I hope this all helps.

He's going to be our Tim Tomas and be our #1-2 pairing in 2018. :p

Oiler fan coming in peace. I grew up with Dennis. He's a solid 2 way defenseman who tends to play bigger than his size suggests

I was a bit disapointed with this pick, to be honest. I know its a late pick and all, but there was still some interesting players on the board.
Hopefully he turns out to be a another Frattin.
