Downloaded something with all the intro songs of the NHL teams the other day and am big on music and liked the Rangers song the best.
But don't know the artist on it sounds like a punk/rock and roll song, but also judging by how many times it mentions rangers, it's been re-worked for the team.
Is how it roughly goes. If anyone can help me I'd be appreciative. File is listed both as NYR 2k2006 and 2k2007 intro theme so it's probably from around that time period.
that sounds like it might be the misfits song "i want to be a new york ranger", written specifically about the rangers. the misfits tried getting the rangers to adopt it as their official song but it didn't take.
i think the song appeared on the short music for short people comp on fat wreck chords?
