So this gives us another spot in the lines so Vincour can continue to play and R. Smith can either come back into the lineup or alternately Fraser if he's called up.

I wonder if there will be any visible hangover from the players. We could see the writing on the wall, still you have to think it was a major shock in the room.

Have to say I expect a win due to the Minnesota-in-Dallas factor and just the weird things this team likes to do.

who knows? it might be a "let's show them, we can do it without him" kind of vibe, especially with the mix of older know how vets, and younger who gives a crap yolo type youngsters

I can't imagine it being that big of a shock. Morrow even said he knew it was coming.

If anything, the guys that are in question of being traded I think will come out and show a bit more than usual.

Roy's game against Colorado was his best in close to a month.

I don't mind winning if we're still going to do the right thing and sell off the vets.

Article on Minnesota's streak of futility in Dallas....
http://www.startribune.com/sports/wild/199784041.html

Russo gets a couple of shots in, like he always does when it comes to Dallas.

The current streak...
10.19.03 - Dallas 3, Minnesota 1
02.24.04 - Dallas 3, Minnesota 1
03.22.06 - Dallas 4, Minnesota 2
04.15.06 - Dallas 4, Minnesota 3 (OT)
12.02.06 - Dallas 4, Minnesota 3 (SO)
02.06.07 - Dallas 4, Minnesota 2
12.26.07 - Dallas 8, Minnesota 3
01.07.08 - Dallas 3, Minnesota 1
10.29.08 - Dallas 4, Minnesota 2
03.14.09 - Dallas 3, Minnesota 2 (OT)
01.18.10 - Dallas 4, Minnesota 3
02.02.10 - Dallas 4, Minnesota 2
12.04.10 - Dallas 4, Minnesota 3 (OT)
03.11.11 - Dallas 4, Minnesota 0
02.04.12 - Dallas 2, Minnesota 1 (SO)
02.24.12 - Dallas 4, Minnesota 1

Am sure it will end now that I've posted it.

Dallas does it big.
Maybe not necessarily on the scoreboard, but I am expecting a dominant win.

Should be a good game; interested in seeing where the Stars' heads are at, leading into this one. All eyes on them as GM Joe's likely still fielding calls.

Go STARS!

This is a different Minnesota team than we have faced the last several seasons, we are going to need to put together a solid 60 minutes if we want 2 points tonight

GO STARS!

I'd rather see Loui with Benn and Jagr but other than that can't complain. The defense finally, finally, appears to have been gotten right, at least for the moment.

So Benn is out unless once again the coach makes changes after a pre-game skate:

We'll probably lose like 6-2 if Jordie doesn't play.
