With Drew Tate being out of action with a dislocated shoulder, Michael Bishop is on his way to Calgary to fill in temporarily as the #2 backup QB.

Pumped for the season to start, the West is the Stamps to lose IMO. It will be great to have Rambo back for a full year, the Stamps have the deepest receiving core in the league and probably the best 1/2 punch in the back field.

I'm leaving for Holland for 3 weeks tomorrow, so I'm going to miss the start of the CFL season, and FA in the NHL.

GO STAMPS, AND GO FLAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dimitri Tsoumpas to miss the season opener vs. Argonauts.

Tsoumpas set to miss the first game of his pro (and college) career

Quote:
But he firmly believes he’ll be good to go when the Stamps head to Vancouver to play the Lions on July 8, and he’ll be able to start a new iron-man streak, and keep a simple “1” in his games-lost-due-to-injury category — despite what you may read elsewhere.

Stampeders lose 23-21 to the Argonauts. Just a brutal performance.

The defensive side wasn't that bad. They actually looked pretty good.

Burris looked lazy and the offensive side of the ball was totally underwhelming.

With Rob Maver getting injured in the season opener, the Stampeders have signed kicker Rene Paredes.

Great game! Paredes looks like the real deal, and Burris was hitting his mojo late, look out I can see this team starting to roll.

Nice to get the win, and Paredes was key, but we got lucky with all the drops by BC and had WAY too many turnovers. A fumble with 59 seconds when all you need to do is kill the clock?

I figure we can handle the Bombers next week, but vast improvements are still needed.

Crazy game. I did my share of cursing in front of the TV, that's for sure. But most importantly, the Stampeders pulled out a big win, considering the injuries we had. Special teams definitely won us this one.

I liked what I saw from Paredes.

Who from the Stamps is likely to miss the game coming up in Winnipeg? We also are pretty banged up. I'll fill you in as it gets closer.
Should be a good game, excited to see how our front 7 do against the Stamps Oline.

McCartney, Stone, Maver just to name a few, will miss the game.

Returning to the lineup for this game is Rambo, Jackson, Tsoumpas and Morley.

2 of the 3 first round picks the Bombers had are out, Muamba (LB) is running again, but Poblah (WR) is on 9 game
Edwards has been hurt for both games so far and has sat out of prctice most of the week. Still expect him to play but he is not 100%. Carr is another reciever hurt, and might not play. Denmark will be in again.
Vega on the Dline will be out, brining in Kashama ( I believe he was with the Stamps sometime last year).
Suber (DB) has also sat out of practice, but should play
Kent (LB) should be back for his first game, moving Hefney back to HB

Sounds like you have some big talent coming back.....

I'm kind of scared for tonight, hopefully Burris plays strong and Fred Reid doesn't burn us too hard.

Stampeders win 21-20 over the Blue Bombers.

It sure wasn't pretty, but I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day. Keon Raymond was in beast mode. Love that guy.

Blue Bombers defense came as advertised.

As a Bomber fan, I have to be pretty disappointed to not get the 2 points, but I do think a statement was made. We just have to get this Elliot kid more playing time because you know he's going to need it.

Elliot has a torn ACL. Gotta give the guy credit for playing the rest of the game with that kind of an injury when Lebron James misses the rest of a game when he gets poked in the eye

The world is a better place when the Roughriders lose. 0-3. Looks good on them.

Lebron is a sissy...a soft white boy like Dirk has more guts than him.

Hopefully they can score 40-50 against the Esks like they have been doing for awhile. This is a huge test for both teams

Very disappointing loss and effort by the offense yesterday. They need to get on the same page and start clicking fast, because it's not going to get any easier. Also, Paredes sucks.
