We'll go good, drafting Erat late in the draft (7th round?)

A good: drafted patric hornquist dead last in the draft.
Bad: Picked Brian Finley with the 6th overall pick in the 1999 draft.
Good: Traded for Steve Sullivan in 03 04.
Bad: Brendan Witt
Good: Drafted Ryan Suter ahead of higher ranked guys like Dion Phaneuf and Brayden Coburn
Bad: Josef Vasichuk
Good: Thomas Vokoun from the Canadiens
Bad: Ronning for The Drunk defenseman whose name escapes me. And then I just remembered, Karlahti.
Good: Jan Hlavac for a 7th.../ Pekka Friggin Rinne
Bad: Vitali Vishnevsky
Shea Weber in the 2nd round (good)
No value received for Peverley (bad).
Good: Getting a 1st round pick back from Philly for the rights to Timonen and Hartnell and having that pick become Blum. (2 goods in one fail swoop)
Bad: Mark Mowers
Good: Is Poile the one who hired Trotz? If so, that for good.
Bad: bad roster move: dumont contract
Good move: Signing Marcel Goc
Bad: Wasting a 1st on Chet Pickard.
Good: getting a 2nd(now Hellberg) and Halischuk for a washed up Arnott/ We'll go good, drafting Erat late in the draft (7th round?)

it was bad to trade for an RFA that was signed to a contract too big to qualify and thus retain his rights.
poile paid "asset" price for a "rental"
and just to get us back on track I'll throw out the entire 2000 draft after Hartnell... 11 picks, ZERO NHL players(Pivko got ONE game with the Preds, otherwise complete bupkus)

The price was completely fine as a rental... him being RFA was just a bonus that we decided not to utilize.
We can let it count though
We are on bad now right? May as well throw Lombardi out there

Good - Pekka Rinne - 8th round 258th overall.

Bad - Talking about making a major signing on July 1, 2010... only for it to end up being Jonas Andersson, who didn't even make it out of training camp before getting dealt to Vancouver and, after a brief stint with Manitoba, returning to Europe.

Good - Turning that signing into Shane O'Brien before training camp ended.
