Burns. about the only thing Subban has over him at the moment is skating, and burns is a very good skater. Size has the disadvantage of somewhat limiting your agility, but it has advantages as well in reach and sheer mass.

Don't really care for PKs attitude (not relevant to skill anyway) and Burns is a great guy--i wouldn't even think about it if I were picking between them in building my team.

edit: is it still homerism if its a player that used to be on your team?

btw, Im not even a Habs fan, and never said Pk was "superior" to Burns. THeyre very similar players in every aspect. Burns even had a worse +/- last season.
Well, when you say "PK is on par with Burns and is only getting better"... what you're saying is "They are equal now, but PK is going to pass Burns"

That is your statement, not mine.

Instead of flaming me, calling me a homer, or calling me a hater... provide some insight or enlighten us with your knowledge that we are all missing out on....

Considering Burns is rocking PK in this poll (as he should), there must be something 60% of people are missing and only you have the kept secret of what makes PK so better, instead of putting up brick walls and creating fallacies (particulary ad hominems and attacking me) , please provide a valid argument for why PK is equal or will pass Burns.

I am waiting.

edit- It is possible PK may one day be better than Burns... I am not trashing or saying in anything negative here about PK, as I said before, I respect the skills... but your the one attacking me, and saying they are equal now... all I am asking is for you to provide proof to your claim, that is it.

Burns is better for now, but I think by the end of the season, barring injury, PK will surpass him. My opinion, anyways.

that's probably a bolder prediction than you realize when you think about it. Burns is going from a scoring anemic Wild team to the Sharks.

Bruiins fan here...Subban and to me I didnt even need to think about it. You people who voted Burns, I think you just dont know Subban's game well enough, as much as I hate him and his flopping antics-the kid is a absolute beast....Not to mention, hes really young and will only improve, which scares me.

Same here, Subban scares the **** out of me when he's on the ice. If you want to talk defensive play, him and Gill shut down the Bruins top line in the 1st round. Krejci had one point in that series and he still led the playoffs in goals and points.

Subban still makes mistakes and still has a little bit of the attitude (which is not necessarily a negative), but he's becoming a star. If I could make the Habs trade him for Burns I would.

Are you telling us that Subban would be worth a blue-chip prospect, a top-6 forward and a late first?

We'll see I guess. Subban is awesome but I think we're going to see Burns explode on a loaded Sharks team.

If, somehow, the Habs put their act together and improved its forward corps, Subban would be even better on the PP than he is now. But it's not because he would score more goals, though.

That being said, Subban makes no more mistakes per minute of ice-time than veteran D-men playing at his level.

I don't think Setoguchi, Coyle, and a late 1st could land Subban, no. Not that I consider Coyle a 'blue chip' prospect.

My point was that I would rather play against Burns 6 times a year than Subban.

More like Clutterbuck + Coyle + a mid-first.

Whenever I've watched Burns he's been atrocious. So I'm going to abstain. I'll get to see him more next season though.

The Kings got Burns' number?

Did you see Subban play, by chance?

Subban. Very impressive year. It just seems from the games I have seen, he is a smart player with huge potential. And I am NOT a Canadiens fan.

Burns for now, but it's possible that P.K. could overtake him as early as this season depending on how it goes.

It's not close, Burns is much better. His visibility suffers from playing in Minnesota.

Habs and Subban fan voting Burns.

Burns can play at a high level at RW as well.

Don't understand your first question. I was referring to Burns being on San Jose next season, who I'll see more of.

And yeah, I've watched Subban.
