This game was bloody disappointing. We had a epic melt down in the 3rd, the d stopped helping Jacob. Jacob could have saved some of the goals that went in. We spent most of the 3rd in our own end. Coach needs to go back to basics with the guys.
Wish there was TV, would have liked to see the Heat's late PPG. From the radio it sounded like DGM wasn't happy about no whistle. Though still no excuse for being up 3-0 and losing.
I just don't get how they can have these meltdowns. Oh wait, I do know! They sit on the freaking lead and expect to win the game. They continue to turn over the puck as well. This is not the time to lose important games that will get us into the playoffs.

Wait...we rehired Jacques Martin to coach San Antonio?

Nice win. Was worried when they lost the lead again, but that late 2nd period goal helped. Definitely nerve wrecking in the 3rd though. Did anyone see what happened to Sullivan? Been listening to the radio, but haven't heard any update on him.
According to Weiss: #sarampage now in a 3-way tie for 4th in the conference with Abbotsford and Houston. Each with 77 points and 68 games played.
And how nice of the Panthers twitter to recognize both teams swept the Montreal teams.
Couldn't tell ya, no TV. But by radio he seemed to do well. Even got a chance in the SO, but I think he hit the post? With the way these games go, they are such a blur so quickly after lol
Oddly enough, you guy's old buddy Olesz had 2 goals.

Olesz?!
He seems to do well on the AHL level..I guess the Hawks were the first team that recognized it
hooray, 4-3 win! Markstrom has to be tired after tonight
46 saves! Awesome ! Glad you won. Havent watched a game of our AHL affliate but from the stats it looks to me like Marky has really improved his play and is now getting a lot of starts
Btw. I like Jonathan Matsumoto. When he was up here he played great!
Seems as though the Rampage are certainly becoming a near mirror image of the Panthers. Marky certainly has been doing awesome lately but I'm hoping the 49 shots the other night was a one time occurence. Anyone who goes to the Chicago game tomorrow night if you could let us know how Drew Shore looks as well as Alex Petrovic if he plays. Hoping the boys can finish the season out strong as they have most of their remaining games left at home.
Another tight low scoring playoff type game tonight I'm guessing as the Rampage beat Chicago 2-1. Being Drew Shore's first home game, how did he look? I have also noticed in the box scores lately that Alex Petrovic hasn't played much. Is he injured? The Rampage's web site said Roman and Seabrook were recalled from Cincinnati so somebody must be injured. How did Marky look tonight also? Seems he is peaking at the right time.
Another solid defensive effort. Chicago had just a couple of scoring opportunities and Markstrom swallowed them up. The lone goal came when he made a terrific initial glove save that he couldn't hold onto, the puck fell to the ice and it was poked in by the Chicago player. The GWG by Timmins was an absolute gift. Timmins just threw it on net from the sidewall and it hit Lack high in the chest. He couldn't handle it, he fumbled around with it, and it fell behind him into the net.
Shore looked good. He jumped around quite a bit from line to line. Started out with Mats and Repik, moved down to the 4th line, then back up to the initial line. Tenacious forechecker, plays with an edge, non-stop motor, and very good at using his body to protect the puck and make plays.
Petrovic isn't injured, he's just the 8th d-man right now. As he should be. No way he should be playing over the starting 6 with every game being like a game 7.
Seabs and Roman were called up because Cinci's season ended over the weekend. Seabs may see some time (doubt it), but Roman wasn't on the clear day list, so he will only play if someone gets injured or called up.
Markstrom really is turning out to be everything he is touted to be. Amazing goalie with a kid like personality. He really has fun out there. Been a real pleasure to watch him this season.
