Tough to say who the #1 prospect is. I dont think we have any high end players in the system. There's a couple potential top 4 d-men but not much in the way of top 6 forwards, and nothing in the way of goaltending.

I will say that the most intriguing prospect is Avtsin, though. He's not exactly a safe bet for the nhl but if anybody has top class potential in our system, its him.

Out of that list, I'll go:

1) Beaulieu
2) Emelin

I voted Leblanc because I think he has the most upside and I like what I saw of him. I just hope he isn't injury-proned. Beaulieu is close second and Emelin third.

I have to say, I like our top 5 even though it isn't that impressive:
Leblanc, Beaulieu, Emelin, Tinordi and Palushaj

Voted Yemelin, first because he's the one who bring something we lack the most, and secondly because I'm just so stoked he'll finally play for the Habs.

I went with the one (among the highest potentials) we have who has proven the most at the highest stage : Kristo. He's proven more than Leblanc IMO and the upside is about the same.

I'd put them in this order :

Kristo
Beaulieu
Tinordi
Leblanc

In terms of not NHL ready (i.e. an actual prospect) I'd give it to Beaulieu.

Out of Beaulieu, Tinordi, Leblanc and Kristo I see Beaulieu as the one projecting to have the most high end talent who also has a high probability of making it.

If I had to go based on pure talent maybe Avtsin but him making the NHL or even playing well at the AHL level remains to be seen.

So for those reasons Beaulieu.

NHL ready? Emelin.

Based on what I have read, I really like Beaulieu in the long term but in the short term, Emelin is probably the most exciting prospect we have now.

Diaz should probably be added. He has to be closer to the NHL than almost anyone on the list other than Emelin.

Beaulieu.

Considering the combination of two factors: his career upside and the potential number of games he will play in the NHL.

Beaulieu is the closest thing we have to top end talent. This is why he is leading this poll.
