I was at the game. Khudobin did not look sharp. The first goal he had no real chance at. The second he could have maybe poked checked away. The third he either wasn't up against the post correctly or it slipped through 5-hole but it was all on him. He didn't even know it was in the net. I don't remember the 4th.

The Baby B's just didn't look very sharp tonight. Very few quality shots. Jones seemed to handle them without much difficulty.

Pretty sure a team consisting of our non-Ahl prospects could beat them.

The lineup is the worst they've iced in a long time. Everett Sheen and the new guy up from the E (Koger) were getting major minutes.

They skated well for periods of time in the second and third, but they have zero offense right now. Anyone with a decent forecheck can cause them to fold like a house of cards.

I'm really tired of Lane MacDermid suddenly deciding he doesn't want to fight anymore. Last night he got into it right off the faceoff with Paddock as settlement for the Sauve cheap shot a few weeks ago, but it was a quick tussle and a drop to the ice. Paddock was running around the rest of the night and hadn't learned his lesson. Towards the end KMacDonald wanted to go but got tossed out. Meanwhile MacDermid is just standing there. Game was over, certainly he wouldn't be instigating if a fight broke out of you saw how the Narchs were acting......but no, he's now a 20 goal scorer and power play specialist in his own mind apparently. I know everyone wants him called up at the drop of a hat if Boston is playing some rough hombres, but quite frankly he's lost his edge.

Aside from Carter Camper, there's no one playing a well rounded all around game. I don't even want to get started on Warsofsky.

End of one period 3-1.

Goalies:

Getting pasted again.....and Portland is awful. Can't believe I'm ready to throw the white sheet over this season. I totally, TOTALLY misread this team.

P Bruins Question

A question for those who have been to Providence games, how has David Warsofsky looked so far this year? I really want him to succeed and make the NHL as a local kid. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Someone once told me that if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all.

On a positive note, he had an assist in tonight's game against Portland.

Ugly game. Portland dominated the whole game aside from out 5-on-3. Camper was good, MacDonald was good, Button as alright...hmm. That's really all I can say for positives. Warsofsky is a non-factor in his own end. Not sure if it's size or what but he was ineffective. Caron was bad. No compete. He just gave up on some plays. THe worst thing about the game was the free fries cheer from the Portland crowd after the 5th goal was scored. Ffree fries...from McDonald's. Woohoo

Not good news.

I was hoping Caron would make a big contribution in Providence.

I didn't see anything special about his play on Saturday either. He looked like an "AHLer" tbh.

EDIT: I meant Monday vs Manchester.....6 days off in a row screwed me all up.
