I know I've said this before, but after watching old CBJ highlights on YouTube tonight...there's hardly anyone left from when I started watching this team. This is a good thing, but somewhat wild.

Players expected to be on the CBJ 2011-12 roster that played at least half the season:
-2006-07 roster: 1 (Nash. Methot was in 20 games)
-2007-08 roster: 4, though this could be 3 if Jan isn't brought back (Hejda, Nash, Boll, Russell. Murray, Brassard, MacKenzie, and Methot also saw time, but most were in call-up roles, with the exception of Murray's 39 games)

Been there, seen that, been equally surprised.

Yeah, I think it's from the 2002 WHC in Russia. He put it on his twitter feed as well.

He also took over as admin of his fan page on facebook.

Whatever his problems are, I really like how open he is with fans. Seems like he'd be fun to have a beer with, really. Of course, that may be related to some of his problems here

Nice find Cougar. Good to see Brass working, although he had a good excuse to work out with the likes of his training buddy!

SI gives a rundown of some of the greatest Free Agency busts in recent history = http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/mul...content.1.html

Spoiler alert: CBJ somehow escape the list. Maybe they've never heard of Mike Commodore?

Not sure if this is the correct thread, but does anyone have photos from the 2007 Development Camp? I need some help finding photos of Mason and Boll. Thanks!

Jeff Carter, Columbus Blue Jackets: Like Richards, Carter should find himself centering one of the League's dominant goal scorers in Rick Nash. While both players may clash in style a bit (they love to shoot the puck -- they were two of six players with at least 300 shots on goal last season), Carter should continue to score goals and post solid point totals. With three straight seasons of at least 33 goals, Carter and Nash could become one of the League's premier scoring duos. However, you can expect Carter's plus/minus to take a hit in moving from a Cup-contending team in Philadelphia to a team that likely will be fighting for a playoff berth in 2011-12. Draft Projection: Second Round
Quote:
James Wisniewski, Columbus Blue Jackets: The third defenseman on this list, Wisniewski was an underrated and highly productive blueliner last season that will be a formidable weapon for the Blue Jackets going forward. Wisniewski totaled a solid 21 points in 32 games with the Islanders before getting dealt to the Canadiens midway through the season. His only flaw on Long Island was his dreadful minus-18 rating, but that changed quickly when he arrived in Montreal. Wisniewski went on to record 7 goals and 23 assists in 43 games for the Habs and finished with a plus-4 rating. While he struggled against the Bruins in the playoffs, he still was able to land a big contract after his rights were traded to Columbus. He immediately becomes the team's No. 1 defenseman, and with superstars Nash and Carter up front, the Jackets are becoming a more offensive team. While Wisniewski's production might not be as noticeable as it was with Montreal, look for the 27-year-old defenseman to perform as a top-20 blueliner and hover around 40 points in his first season with his new team. Draft Projection: Ninth Round

Are you actually looking for pics, or just a roster that would have the player numbers?

It'd be nice to have a setup guy with them - Juice or Vermy, perhaps? Or Jake...oops! - but they both can make their own offense and feed off each other's efforts. And if that just flat-out won't work, having 40 goal scorers on each of the top two lines is not the worst think that's ever happened to this team!

Guy in Buffalo sweater is Dimon McPherson, CEO of Nationwide at the time.

My guess is that they are all the people whose handprints are in the wall near the arena Blue Line shop. Founders....?
