Wheeling.
Wheeling will not lose here. They will get talent from the Montreal system especially since the Penguins organization will not help them out.

But non AHL contracted guys who get sent there further now have a reason to not go there. ECHL type giuys hoping to move up will likely hit up the other 3 destinations since they have a lot more AHL options near them.

I understand. I was making a weak attempt at humor at the expense of Shawn Rines. This will not help Wheeling at all. I have no idea how they intend to attract talent when there seems to be such a negative perception of the organization.

non affiliated teams, GMR, DON'T HAVE THOSE rights..... it's not hurting the contracted or affiliated teams at all, unless Wheeling, Elmira, or Reading go independent(none of which is likely).... Any ECHL Player, contract or not, can be recalled by any higher league, hence why we have the PTO

Any Trenton fans happen to know why they waived him?

Wonder what makes Reading think he will pass it then? I guess they could have different requirements for a physical.

I can't help but laugh at that line about fans in attendance(one last more T-Devs fans, I promise) They apparently had a few dozen. They had as many fansd at training camp last night as they had at home games last year.

Hey maybe this Titans thing has a shot!
