Does Bergfors fall into your
barker or moulson catergory?
I'd say he's closer to the Moulson/Grabner than he is to Barker, but still not in their catagory. He's around Barker's age but with about only 100 games less NHL experience (esentially a season's worth). I could justify taking a chance on Bergfors over Barker, but I still don't feel like this team is desperate enough to pull the trigger on a move like this.
Excuse me but im going in a different direction, if bought out i think we should give him a preseason tryout. Im not for claiming him at 3 mil
You started this thread, and replied that Garth should pick him up. My apologies, but perhaps you should have specified what you meant by "pick him up" earlier.
Yet still, there is no point in touching Barker. If we didn't want to upgrade on defense, Snow would have kept Gervais, Hillen, and Martinek (all three are more serviceable options than Cam Barker). If he ever becomes anything more than a 3rd pairing defenseman in this league I'll cut my own balls off.

Sorry for confusion, im a younger
isles fan (18) and may not know as much as you so give me some slack
I know we're feeling all giddy because we got a waiver gem in Grabner but it's not going to happen again. Especially when we're talking about someone with little talent.
Yes, for every Grabner there will be a dozen Schremps. Once again, it's easy to jump on the "claim [garbage player on waivers]!!" bandwagon when it's not your wallet the millions will come out of... IMO, even with the Isles' trouble luring FAs, they could still do a lot better for the money Barker makes.
