Luleć's dream recruit, Johan Harju is still a name for Tampa Bay. Tampa is offering him a new contract worth SEK 4.8 million.
Tampa Bay has far from given up on Johan Harju and according to sources retains rights to him by offering him a 'qualifying offer.
The two-way agreement gives him an annual salary equivalent to SEK 4.8 million. His AHL salary would be much less than he earns in Lulea.
Ten NHL games
- We have not received anything yet. If it is as you say it's not interesting, says Harjus agent Patrik Aronsson.
Johan Harju only played ten NHL games (1 goal, 2 assists) with the Tampa Bay Lightning. The rest of the time he spent in the Farm Team Norfolk, where he made solid points. Harju scored 23 goals and had 30 assists in 63 games in the AHL. But playing in the minor league was not what the World Cup qualified center dreamed of and this spring he signed with his former team Lulea (SEL).
Even Lulea Current D, Johan Fransson have received an NHL offer. Los Angeles, who this past season loaned him to the KHL club SKA St. Petersburg, has sent him a qualifying offer of SEK 4.3 million.
