I'll go JGL here. Like his upside.

Add Matt MacKenzie.

Sundher, add Drew Mac.

If this was dealt with in another poll I apologize, is Varone on an ELC? I thought he was only under and AHL contract with the Amerks.

JGL again, over Catenacci; add M.MacKenzie again, over some of the college kids MacKenzie, Navin, Knapp, Isackson.

Sundher, Matt Mac. Want to add Navin but probably not for another 2-3 rounds

Now this gets kind of tough. I'll go with Catenacci, as I think he has the most offensive upside. Add Crawford.

Hmm here come the difficult decisions. JGL, Cat, Sundher and Schiestel are all in a tier for me here. I'll take JGL, add Navin again.

BMF here over JGL. Foligno's coming on down the stretch, starting to fill out his game and should be in line for a recall very soon. Gauthier-Leduc... great season, tough choice between those two for me at this point.

I'd add Foligno to that tier as well.

Whoops, yeah I should have scrolled up at the names and looked again, I knew I forgot someone, and probably Tropp as well.

I feel like you can make six different choices at 5 and still be correct. There shouldn't be another run away poll until 9 or 10.

No, it's that the poll shows up as a post while you are typing in the poll lines is all.

And add Crawford.

I like Tropp here. Hoping his concussion doesn't pose as a long-term issue. I think his game makes him a safe bet to make it as a third liner in this league.

Add Boychuk

Going with JGL/add Jacobs again.

I thing JGL has as much upside as any of our prospects, save Armia. And Jacobs could be our next Goose or Tropp-like player.

Agree on Tropp. Odd that he isn't getting much consideration, given just a few months ago people didn't even want to send him back to Rochester. He should be very much in the conversation at this spot, and I'm giving him the slight edge over Sundher because he is pretty much NHL-ready.

Add MMac.

It all depends on how people rate their prospects. Tropp is a safe bet to kick it in the NHL, I'd say. That said, his upside isn't greater than that of JGL or Sundher (etc etc).

I like Tropp here because he's shown that he can play in the big league when called upon. Some prefer potential over safeness.

sundher
add navin

i think sundher, tropp, foligno are all the same tier as far as forwards go. Sundher gets the edge because he's a center, and he's demonstrate a bit more in the scoring areas.

schiestel JGL fits in somewhere between those guys too... and then there is the higher end offensive potential of catenacci...
my order:
5. sundher
6. schiestel
7. catenacci
8. foligno
9. gauthier-leduc
10. tropp

JGL.

Honestly though, I got a feeling there's a big drop off from the top 4 guys to JGL and the rest. Sadly.

Agreed, from here, in my opinion, there is a group from 5-10 (or 11 if you count Brennan, I don't) and then another big dropoff.
