If I remember correctly the gaborik, drury and gomez and even redden signing didn't come till later in the evening. With that being said, if richards signs with ny we probably won't hear about it until around 7pm or later
LA really sounds desperate every July 1st. It's kind of pathetic. LA is probably the second most desirable NHL city to live in behind NYC. They should be using that more to their advantage. If I remember correctly, the only reason Kovalchuk didn't sign with the Kings is because he was turned of by DL's presentation and constant questioning.
Brunette is better than Wolski in every facet of the game. He's a legitimate top-6 LW -- I don't see the big deal.
See what HBNYC just said. We're a growing team. We don't need old timers taking a young guy's ice-time. The Rangers are training Wolski to be a better player with Barb. He has all the skill and he knows he has to work his ass off. They could have easily traded him. Contrary to popular belief, the kid does have trade value.

If true, that means we are his top choice.

Very interesting move for Avs. The first rounder is a hefty price considering Varlamov isn't exactly proven considering he had an iffy year. That pick could be a lottery pick. Solid trade for both teams in the end. Avs stay young instead of signing Vokoun.
