Koivu deserves a whole lot more for endurance. He had an average of about 19.30 minutes of ice time per game this past season.

With your numbers, Koivu doesn't deserve to be on 1rst line. You have only 4 of the 80 and more.
Koivu have a better than average balance, he deserves an 80 or more.
His shot isn't powerfull but should be at least 65 or more.
His shot is pretty accurate even if not powerfull. Close to 80.
His passing is beyong excellent. 90 or more.
His deking is more than decent. At least 80 or more (to 94).
His defensive awarness is good too. Closer to 80 than 70.

Those who put more than 84 (for Koivu) on speed are not realistic.

On a scale of 50 to 99, Dagenais is 50, Ribeiro is 67, Koivu is 79, Zednik is 86, Morrison is 87, Bulis is 91, Lecavalier is 92, Gaborik, Kovalchuk, Kapanen, Neidermeyer and St-Louis are at the top (between 96 and 99).

Lecavalier is not faster than Bulis. Do your homeworks

91, 92: one number close. Okay, Lecavalier is 91 and Bulis is 92. Are you happy?
They are both about 91. Except that when Bulis uses his speed, there is no goal. When Lavacalier uses his top gear, there is a goal. For that, (and the Stanley Cup) I give the edge to Lecavalier.

Take in consideration that Bulis have less ice time, less stress and duty. When Bulis take his shifts, he is more fresh than Lecavalier. A rested Bulis looks faster than an over-used Lecavalier. Both rested, I might bet on Lecavalier on a race.

I'm happy

I agree that Lecavalier is fast too. I would say Lecavalier 88, Bulis 91. That Bulis is a real speedster!!

By the way, who will be the next player that we will rate? How about Kovalev? :gman:

Is Kovalev signed yet? I don't think so, I was away last 3 days in camping. Haven't heard of Kovy signed.

I would say Zednik before Kovalev.
Go first: Kovalev or Zednik; your choice.

edit: I agree on Bulis, he really impresses me with his speed. I would rate him 95 some games.

IMO Bulis could be a 20 goal scorer in this league. He's still very young. He have tons of chances of scoring in a season. I think it's a problem with confidence. He seems to have good hands and good moves but his hands turns to stone when he reach the slot

16 goals + 13 goals is not too bad considering he don't even play on the PP.(last 2 seasons)

If there is a season, i think he could score 17-18 goals next year with Bonk and our third line will do some damage!!!

I'm agree Bonk and Bulis together are a good fit. Gainey is a genious.

I was very high on Bulis before last season started. This guy have everything (potentially).
Physicly he is top+. Like Lecavalier or Fedotenko. Still young, tall, strong and injured-free.
I think his problem is his brain. Not enough confidence (as you say) and he doesn't show a lot of creativity. I would like Ribeiro to have the body of Bulis or Bulis to have the creativity of Ribeiro. Bulis should watch a lot of hockey strategy videos off-season and play chess (and other strategy games that uses geometry) to improve his creativity/strategy.

I know this sounds silly but it's 1:17 of the morning. My brain is a bit tired.

Ghost # 1, you overrate Koivu on speed, powershot, and etc. He's good but he's not Vinny Lecavalier or Iginla, Naslund or Kovalchuk.

Now for Richard Zednik:

Speed: 87
Balance: 94
Shot Power: 85
Shot Accuracy: 80
Deking: 72
Passing: 66
Hitting: 84
Aggresivity: 90
Defensive Awarness: 79

Yeah but Tetris is not a deep strategy game. The chess game have a territory shema that looks like hockey. There is offence and defense, and a goal (to take the King).

Bye now, I go to sleep. If you have time, make your rating on Zednik. I'll check your's next morning.

I'm flipping through amazed at how low some of you guys rate his Hitting and Aggressivity and then see this post that starts about how generous we've been so I disagree, but then I see some of his numbers, and this is the one I agree most with so far. I'd change it to:

Speed:80
Balance:85
Shot Power:77
Shot Accuracy:82
Deking:86
Passing:88
Hitting:82
Aggresivity:88
Defensive Awarness:80
Heart:95

agility:85
endurance:80
potential:90
acceleration:80
Face-offs:85
Resist Injury:72
puck control:90

Out of 15:
shoot-pass:12
pass-carry:5
defense-offense:9
penalties(out of 100):77
fighting(Never, rare,sometimes, often):rare
