Bye-bye Leclaire

36 1/2 hours to go.

And with him, let the Ottawa goalie curse begone!

Au revoir, Glasscal.

I'd feel sorry for the guy except for the fact that he is filthy rich.

Health and fitness do not come from drinking potato-chip shakes. I bet he drank malk rather than milk while growing up.

Favourite Leclaire moments:

1. Getting a broken cheekbone while sitting on the bench courtesy of Mike Fisher.

2. Fisher again showing his raging hate for Pascal, hitting him with a slapshot in practice on the apex (1/2 the size of a dime) of his mask: concussion.

3. Leclaire's "refreshing" attitude where he just laughs off bad goals or bad games, doesn't have a care in the world. Who wants a competitive-minded goalie?

4. 2OT playoff win vs. Pittsburgh. Where did that come from?

What are your favourite memories of Pascal Leclaire?

How do you compare him to Martin Gerber in Sens goalie lore?

What about the time he dropped the F-bomb when he couldn't handle the media? That was pretty funny. Lehner, on the other hand, lives for those moments. They are total opposites, thank god.

I'd feel sympathy for him, but he has a few million reasons not to.

My favourite memory is on the Trade Deadline when we aquired him and McGuire freaking out saying he is the best goaltender in Senators history before playing a game

Didn't he ask to be on the bench for that game to try and avoid aggravating a different injury?

If he wasn't so fragile I'd like to keep him, oh well.

On a more positive note, Leclaire definitely has the talent to be a starter.

Getting hurt while on the bench has to be one of the most ridiculous injuries a goalie has ever suffered... who gets hurt while sitting on the bench!

I always liked him. He seemed to have a good attitude dispite CC anyways playing Elliott over him and never letting him get in a groove. Shame he was always hurt though. I hope he can work his way back to the NHL soon.

I'll laugh my ass off if Murray re-signs Leclaire for league minimum as a backup.

This board would commit seppuku, effigies of Murray would be burned, etc...

Game 5 versus Pittsburgh was one of the best performance by a sens goalie ever, other than that nothing.
