Teams that can form credible package for Malkin

I'm thinking about which teams that can offer packages that might tempt Pitts into moving Malkin. It would have to be pieces that the penguins would be interested in, and value-wise it would have to make sense. I have come up with a short list:
  • LA Kings
    • Dustin Brown
    • Jonathan Bernier
    • Kyle Clifford
    • 1st in 12 or 13
  • Philadephia Flyers
    • James vanRiemsdyk
    • Wayne Simmonds
    • Eric Gustafsson
  • Phoenix Coyotes
    • Keith Yandle
    • Mikkel Bodker
    • Brandon Gormley
  • St. Louis Blues
    • David Backes
    • T.J. Oshie
    • Roman Polak
    • 1st in 12 or 13
  • Boston Bruins
    • Tyler Seguin
    • Doug Hamilton
    • Brad Marchand
  • NY Islanders
    • John Tavares
    • Andrew MacDonald
    • Kiril Petrov

Are any of these values terribly off?

sorry buddy...pens arent moving malkin...shero has already stated he is not interested in moving our "core" players...its just not happening...why would we trade a guy who won the art ross trophy a couple years ago? cause he has had an off year since? this is a mute subject...ITS NOT HAPPENING

Leafs can do that too:
Brett Lebda
Mike Komisarek
John Mitchells old sock (we kept it as a souvenir)

It's likely moot too.

Those are hefty packages, and as most consist of top prospects would require the teams in question to likely dump salary as well. It would be a major change in direction for any of those teams to consider.

I don't want to move Tavares and MacDonald for Malkin.

The only one they might take is Boston's and the Islander's. After that...

Only the Flyers and Coyotes seem reasonable. a couple of them are major overpayment. Malkin for Tavares +?!!!!!!! sorry, that's not credible. it's way too much.

Well for starters this thread is kind of goofy, anyteam can put together an offer for Malkin, but just about every team wouldnt be willing to give up all they would need to in order to get him, I meand the Avs would probably only have to Give up 1 of EJ or Duchene(Probably EJ) and another roster player(Jones or Galliardi or Mueller) and a 1st to get him, but the Avs wouldnt want to give up one of there own Franchise players and more to get him!

Given how Toronto isn't expected to be at the bottom of the standings next year or the year after I think you'd need to add a few more first rounders.

If Malkin was up for trade, more like:

Kadri
Kessel
Colborne
Gardiner
2012 1st round pick

Not sure if serious. That's easily the best package of the bunch. I would not trade that for Malkin especially off that injury

But Malkin is not being traded

top two centre prospects, best Defence prospect, best goal scorer, and another potential solid player with the 1st rounder. So we would give potentially three top 6 forwards, a first pairing defenceman, and another top prospect for a guy who may very well be injury prone??? This is flat out terrible. If Burke did that deal, he should be fired on the spot

Hall and RNH, or Hall and Eberle could probably get it done.

Every team can put out a credible offer, they just won't want to.

I actually have a real hard time coming up with one for Calgary. There's just nothing that Pittsburgh really matches up with there besides Iginla, and I'm not sure Iginla alone gets it done after factoring in age.

The Flames prospect poll is about as bad as Toronto's was a few years ago, meaning awful.
