Right now is the time from what I understand to see a dodger game. I have a friend who has had box seats since the 70's and he keeps telling me that you can buy great seats for very cheap and that since the giants fan got beaten almost to death there is finally enough security to where you can actually walk in buy a ticket and enjoy the game.

I wouldn't recommend walking anywhere near Dodgers stadium but I have this affinity to remaining alive.

Just show up and buy tickets to whatever game you want to attend. There is a sort of protest going on right now among Dodger fans where they are staying away from the stadium in the hopes that it will force their owner to sell the team.

Terrible mother.

Terrible mother.
pretty old news, the chick looks to be in her mid to late 20s rather than 16.

Wait.... There's a Jew hockey team?!?

I wish I knew that growing up. That was all the extra motivation i would have needed to shake my desert syndrome and lace em up as a kid. Gretzky was half the battle, but in my heart i thought "Jews don't do ice".

Well I don't think I've ever seen him. Throw me a name and I could tell you if I've heard of him.

I thought it was common knowledge that there was hockey in Israel.

Um

Yes.

An interesting factoid about him is that to this day he thinks that he may have found the actual tomb of the family of Jesus.

But I live in Long Beach (Belmont SHore which is closer to Seal Beach) and I work in Downtown LA. I left for work this morning at 8:20 am and got in at 9:05am. That is 45 mins to go 25 miles. Now it did take me a while to discover that route and it can take me over and hour on some days but if you avoid the hot spots, you can get around even during rush hour.

I was in a traffic jam in Toronto once and it was as bad if not worse than anything I've ever seen in LA. LA has a ton of people but it also has the biggest freeways/highways out of anywhere I've ever been. Right now the 405/22 is 6 lanes wide and I believe they are adding another two. That is going to be some crazy ****!

Whoever came up with the idea of combining two freeways into one is a glorified moron. The 405/22 does this as does the 57/60 and the 5/10 and all can be horrible to go through. Then when they built the 210 freeway from the 57 to the 15, they put in 3 lanes + carpool each way. So in another 10 years the developer and construction companies can be paid to widen it. Great foresight guys! No wonder our local and state governments are broke with that kind of planning.
I lived in Huntington Beach and worked in Irvine... The main problem was that they hadn't synched the lights...and I was using all the side streets... It usually took 25-30 minutes to get there...but an hour to an hour and a half to get home... If I had the rare night shift (which I preferred) I would have had the 25-30 minutes each way...shorter if I went slightly above the speed limit...

Naked Archaeologist, he travels around looking for physical evidence from scriptures, and he happens to be from Canada and therefore loves hockey, doesn't mean he is a good player though

I agree that the chick looks ridiculously older than 16, but 16 is 16. She just became a cash cow to her family. I don't follow entertainment news, but that is appalling >.< her family essentially turned her into another Anna Nicole Smith in my opinion. The dude will be in his 70's before she reaches 30.

I'm soliciting cell phone advice. So I have a Blackberry and i want to get a new phone. I went to the store the other day and was checking some out but I really don't know the difference or the pros and cons. The salesperson wasn't much help either. I have Verizon and I'm not changin plans so keep that in mind when making a suggestion. I want to get an Iphone or a Droid and size matters. I hate having a bulky phone. I didn't realize Droids were made by mutliple companies?? There was a new samsung one called the "Charge" which seems to be the hot item but it was a bit bulky.

I use my phone to call/text, Sirius Satellie radio app (which all of them have the ability to use), shoot self porn clips to post on xtube (just making sure you are reading), listen to music and obviously surf the web while slummin it on public transit. I have all my music on itunes and I have an ipod already for my 50gb of music. Suggestions??

I must admit I dont' drive down that way often. Whenever I come come from John Wayne Airport I take PCH instead of the 405 and it runs nice even during rush hour.. once you get out of Newport at least.

im not rationalizing her marriage with her appearance, i think the whole situation is disgusting as well. I just thought the girl looked like shes been smoking a pack since the day she was born. lol

As sick as it is, daughters will always be sold for financial stability or luxury.

My mother was 16 when I was born and she married in Vegas too. With a forged document. That worked out really well for everyone involved..........

Have you guys ever been to this soda shop? He is apparently based in LA. Just heard of him, going to order and try some of these specialty brands, if I were still in LA, I would definitely stop by:

I went last year after seeing him on Huel Houser. I bought about a case worth of soda's from my youth and then a couple of their stores recommendations. The apple Kish soda I had was my favorite but getting some of the pops in a bottle was great too. I left spending 22 dollars and had close to 45 bottles/cans so it wasn't cheap but there was some recycling or something like that included in the cost. They also have exotic and past candy.

If any of you are into Samurai films, you should check out Takashi Miike's 13 Assassins. It was really well made and Miike was able to make it feel like an older film. Aside from one moment with some bad CGI cows, it doesn't feel like a movie that was made in 2010. On top of that, if you're just into violence, it has that in spades. The ending battle scene is nuts.

Carmageddon story anyone?

I'm down in OC so, I don't have to deal with it but I'm sure some of you had to make some adjustments.

Everyone's staying home. The roads are wide open.

It'll be busy tonight. There is a soccer game at the Coliseum downtown. 90,000 fans expected there. For the morning though, smooth sailing so far.

The gold medal for this morning's Carmageddon news coverage goes to KTLA - They gave a Carmageddon survival kit to their on location traffic reporter consisting of cheese puffs, a Hershey bar, an issue of Tiger Beat magazine and Preparation H. Awesome.

I think that Tiger Beat mag is slightly out of whack here...

There is a chase on channel 9 right now and its showing no traffic around the Carmageddon death circle. The news crew keeps commenting on how light traffic is.

Late to this but I am stoked for the info. I am absolutely going to check it out. Thanks for posting this. I am a big fan of the Sonny films and such but this is great.
