Sorry, I hadn't seen this clip and I follow Cat closely as he's become one of my favourite prospects. I have seen other clips on him but not this one. It was just posted a few hours ago with only a few views.
Anyhow, I've now become a Buffalo Sabres fan and wish Cat All the best!!!

GO SABRES GO!!!!
To be clear, I was making a play on cropping the youtube tags into the response.
Armia is listed at 6'4'' (192 cm) 192 lbs (87 kg) on the Finnish Lake Placid roster, which is 1.25'' taller than he was measured at the Scouting Combine.
I wonder if it's just Finland exaggerating or if he's had a growth spurt.
You can watch him play at the tournament here.
Also, you can watch the Canada Red/White games here.

Smooth.
I actually hadn't seen this particular reel, and it was a good waste of a couple minutes (sans the watermark). I'm really stoked to watch Catenacci develop. That's for damn sure.
The tournament Armia is in starts on the 8th (any game on the page I linked involving Finland marked USAH evaluation will have him in it).
The Canada Red/White games are tomorrow and the 7th.
The game on the 7th will also be on the radio for free, as I mentioned here.
Each game costs $8USD if you buy them one at a time and the costs decreases if you buy in bulk.
You can watch both Red/White games for free now if you like Hockey Canada or the WJC page on Facebook. Details here.
Thanks for the heads up. As much as I want to see Gauthier-Leduc and Pysyk play, I also want to see this Murray kid in action. I'm always looking forward to the draft even if we have no shot to snag him.
In the actual thread for Ivan Hlinka tournament (prospects section) there is a link for a stream where you can watch Slovakia v. Finland for free. I suggest you check it out, because there aren't many chances to watch Armia for you north Americans.

He was listed in eliteprospects at 189cm at the beginning of the last season. Now it says 6'3 (shouldn't it be 6'4?) and 192cm. Seems like a very reasonable growth.
Those 189cm and 192cm are the official finnish hockey federation's measurements so i trust them the most.
(would have edited this in the other post but i can't edit it... damn infractions)
Speaking about the draft, looking forward to the 2012 draft thread and your (and other posters') analyses.
Thanks, I'm looking forward to arguing more.
I won't be able to see as much this year though, as I'll be busier (aka I'll actually have stuff to do, as opposed to having nothing to do).
I'll get to see some WHL games in person though, which kind of sucks since the WHL crop (and all of Canada, for that matter) doesn't look too strong this year.

It's on August 8th, of course.
He's not eligible to play in the Ivan Hlinka; only '94's and younger are eligible this year.
He's in Lake Placid right now with the U20 team.
There's still some interesting kids to watch though and I'll definitely be watching.

I usually go with the Central Scouting numbers before club/country numbers because sometimes they like to exaggerate the numbers to intimidate other teams.
We'll have to see how he looks compared to some other kids that are around his size.

OOps! Hehe didn't realize that he wasn't eligible. Just remembered he headed to the NA and Ivan Hlinka happened to be held at the same time.
Oh and he was listed 189,9cm at the combine. So only 2 cm difference there. It could actually even be explained by the effects of gravity during the day. People are not as tall in the evening as they are in the morning. Could be also that Armia was measured 191,5cm and they could have approximated the number to 192. 1,5 cm hieght difference can easily be explained by the height difference in a day i mentioned.
Could be that he has just grown... or both of these solutions.

No Oleksiaks or Grimaldis, so you should be safe.
Watching the WHL for 2012 would be great, if the team desperately needs a defensive prospect and/or has a top 15 pick. We know about the first part and well, for the second part, I'm rooting for the 30th pick...

Well, assuming the 30th pick doesn't get traded. Personally, I'm hoping it gets traded for the #1, but that's just me

Haha, it's not like I hated either player, I just didn't want either one with our first.
I didn't like Oleksiak playing in the NCAA and I think going to the OHL will be better for him.
As for Grimaldi, obviously every team felt the same way as me because they didn't take him in the first round either.
If we had gotten a high 2nd without giving up anything that mattered, I would have been ecstatic if we selected him.
I still believe we need more forward depth, so I'd be looking for forwards but there are literally almost none that I'm interested in right now as far as the WHL goes (maybe Ryan Olsen, but he's already off to a bad start after getting cut from the Canadian U18 team).
I'm hoping Darth finds a way to rob a team of a good pick, but if not, there should be some good fits for us wherever we pick.
