Has he healed from that injury he had last season? I can't remember what it was but I remember it wasn't pretty.

If he's healthy I'd like to see him back on the 3rd/4th line

Possessing stone hands is not intense.

Pass.

If he learned how to handle the puck and take fewer inopportune penalties since we last saw him, sure. If not, no thanks.

Hell NO. There were sooo many times with 3 min left to play in the game, down by 1 goal, and Arty commits a stupid penalty.

Undisciplined player.

I don't think R2 fits the culture of this franchise any longer. I wouldn't mind him back, but don't see Yzerman or Boucher wanting him. Thats fine too.

I did wonder if our Russian flavored draft might continue into Free Agency with some savvy KHL signing. No clue as to foreign league players contract status or who to target. Still, wouldn't be shocking...unless it was Artyukhin.

Mr. skate the puck up the ice with his quick feet and lose control or put the puck right in the chest opposing goalies? eh, pass.

I don't want R2 on the Lightning but I'd like to see him on a western conference team, he's an entertaining player.

Maybe if R2's only job is to run the opposing goalie. But other than that, nah. I'm not sure even Boucher can terrify him into being able to actually handle the puck.

I think the team can do better than R2.

I don't think Artyukhin is capable of becoming a disciplined player. He was fun to watch, but he never seemed to improve on any part of the game. Boucher would hate him.

I liked him and he was an entertaining player, but he was a referee target for the most part. We already have Downie to fill that role.

Don't have anyone on the roster who can bash other players in the head with their helmet so he'd fill that role.

R2 looked good at the world championships. Aside from all the penalties of course. Be managed 3 points in 9 games but had so many solid opportunities and shots down in front of the net.

I agree however that it seems he wouldn't fit the current culture of the team.

He looked pretty good in this world championship, but still took quite a few unnecessary penalties.
