Hahaha 5 years for Talbot...that's ridiculous.

Can't wait for the first Flyers/Pens game next year.

Wow, glad Habs didn't touch that Talbot deal. Not for five years.

You are correct. We dont need to make this team tougher. I am sure that the above mentioned players really didnt mind the abuse.
he's not gonna be able to protect any of these guys because he'll never on the ice the same time as these guys.

he

sucks

Gionta - Clean hit

Cammy - Clean hit

Pacioretty - I'll give you that one

Price - He's a goalie, expect some abuse..Maybe we could fight back and take even more penalties than we took this year.

This is exactly what I wanted. Depth and assurance in case Markov injures himself again.

And on the plus side, he hits and blocks shots. Geezz we don't want that do we...
4 years, for a 33 year old, with all the D prospects we have? I wanted Hejda too, but that term is scary, and not a good fit IMO.

I'm appalled by the number of emotional fans. It's both disturbing and pathetic.
And apparently we have a very bad team too..
Overall evaluation would put us at the bubble team level, dogging it for seventh or eighth. Our forwards range from inconsistency (Cammalleri), unknowns (Pacioretty, Eller) to god awful (Gomez) while the defense is above average. Markov and Subban are elite but the drop off from them is significant.

Seriously? Now Philly is just being an ass.

1.8M cap hit for Max Talbot?! And after trading Richards and Carter for their off-ice antics you bring in a guy with his partying reputation?

Good luck with all that.

Hey you never know...if the infamous "wait and see" applies for the Habs.....it has to apply for every other team. Strangely, it rarely does. I think that Jagr and Talbot will give them a great 1st year. Talbot might have a tougher time as soon as his contract reaches the 3rd year...but until then, he's a fine acquisition.

I would not have made him that contract. That's for sure. But for some people, he was NO GOOD AND FINISHED. Seems that Philly doesn't think so, seems that San Jose and Chicago were in that derby as well. They are just as professionnals are our guys here, which has to mean they aren't dumb either.

They don't really. They just need a convenient excuse to want a guy on their team who can beat other people up.

Miller reporting Varlamov has re-signed with Colorado, for a "Carey Price style" deal.

Haha McGuire bashing the Halak deal in the context of the Varmalov trade. This guy sometimes is dumber than HFboards posters.
