Jagr won't want to waste his time in with a team unlikely to make the playoffs. He is exactly the opposite what I'd want. Younger top 6 forwards, or bust.

well we have a 2nd center. he might not be a good one, but do we really need one right now? Regin, DaCosta, or even Zibanejad can all take on that role. Regin has done it in the past and should get a lot better from now on.

No they can't.

Zibanejad is at least a year away with ZERO benefit to be gained from rushing him.

Da Costa has limited pro experience and could use a year of seasoning in Bingo, or do you want another Winchester?

Regin is soft, and failed when given the opportunity. We can't count on him to play in the top 6.

We have the money, lets throw some at Connolly on a 1yr or 2yr deal.

Do you guys not want to win any games next year?

If we are lucky Da Costa and Regin will be as good as Connolly when they are fully developed.
