I guess I see Ribeiro as someone who takes himself out of as many opportunities by overpassing while Richards is a lot more efficient. He sees the pass and he makes it while Ribeiro goes through a production that often results in a great pass but other times results in a useless turnover.

Now, some of that could be optical illusion I guess. Since I see Richards are more efficient, I could be more prone to not noticing his mistakes/offensive zone turnovers where I see Ribeiro's.

Beaver - IIRC, Richards almost never killed penalties while Ribeiro was a regular on the PK. And neither of them are anywhere near Selke contention. There's a reason they both need wingers with strong defensive habits (be it Lehtinen, Eriksson or Ott) to round out their lines well.

I am worried about replacing some of Richards' offense, but I think you're really overselling his two-way game.

Adam Pardy on Glen Gulutazon

"He brings a lot of fun to the game."

On his shoulder

"Feeling great ... been almost 5 months .... haven't had an issue .... could play right now .... no restrictions working out ... I've been golfing"

Style of play

"Hard working ... not a lot of points or goals ... try to be a two-way play .... defensively is the biggest thing ... taking care of my own skating .... working on my skating .... make plays out of my own zone .... be a hard player to play against ... want to play more minutes against top two lines ... very physical hard to play against"

Eric Godard

"Awesome gay .... just a great, great teammate ... serious, serious about the game ... keeps it loose .... can tilt with anyone ... excited to see him come on board"

Calgary vs. Dallas

"No snow is biggest thing ... Calgary is a crazy market .... always talking hockey ... good or bad ... looking forward to focus on hockey .. not as much criticism as a Canadian market."

Wow .... sorry about that. I wish I could say my finger slipped, but that's a big slip from "a" to "u".
