$3.3M? **** me.

I think he'll be more productie for his price than Leino, and it's nice that his space will open up next year, but it's still a lot.

Indeed. They are livid.

I personally think that if you put Jagr on a line with a good playmaker, like Giroux, he will have a good year. He still has great hands.

That's a lot of money. I don't even think he'll play more than 60 games or get more than 40 points.

3 million is more than worth it, just to anger Penguins fans.

I like the Jagr signing for $3.3

If he plays 80 games, I fully expect 50 points from him.

Why not try to resign Leino?????

I don't get it?
Because Leino wants 4 years and more money.

I'm not thrilled with the signing, but I'd prefer it to Leino at 4/$16M, which I bet someone gives him.

Aren't they both RW'ers though? I know most guys can play either side, but I expect Jagr with Giroux and Jake with Briere.

$3.3 mil is not worth it...as bad as the reaction of Pens fans will be, still not worth it at all.

The guy wanted between $1.5-$2 mil a year, how the ***** do we somehow sign him for $3.3 mil? sooo bad

The only way this is a bad contract is if Homer included a NMC.

If worse comes to worst, we waive him, but I still think he has something left.

This beats Leino at 4 years, with his hip.

Jagr finally signed eh? I still wonder if he's got anything left in the NHL level tank, and if he'll buy into Lavi's system. $3 mil over 1 year is fine by me though. This move is good enough to force my new avy change.

It very much does, especially for Jagr's size as well. Seriously though, our wingers are HUGE now. The only small winger in our top 9 is Versteeg, but he plays bigger than his size.
